Pioneering
The Auto Age

By Herb Colling and Carl Morgan

(About The Authors)

Windsor broadcaster Herb Colling and writer Carl Morgan collaborated on recording the proud social and industrial fabric that enshrined Windsor's crucial place in history as one of the most important manufacturing centres in Canada. The book is not just a story about factories, shift work and the making of cars. It is a celebration of real-life drama, sketching the incredible saga of the determined auto age pioneers who made it come together.

Pioneering The Auto Age is one of three books by Colling.

Morgan is also the author of Birth Of A City, the story of the evolution of Windsor from Detroit River frontier settlement to city status, and The Olympians Among Us, chronicling the role of Southwestern Ontario athletes.

Morgan put his photographic skill to work to produce in a line of unique greeting cards, each mounted with a photograph ready for framing.
