The Olympians
Among Us

By Tony Techko and Carl Morgan

(About The Authors)

Tony Techko, one of the foremost sports historians in Southwestern Ontario, and Carl Morgan, writer and photographer, teamed up to produce this comprehensive, illustrated history of Olympic athletes from Windsor, Essex County and environs.
Years of research culminated in the personal stories of more than 100 athletes, coaches and participants in Olympic and Paralympic Games, dating from the first modern Olympics.

Morgan is also the author of Birth Of A City, the story of the evolution of Windsor from Detroit River frontier settlement to city status, and Pioneering the Auto Age, chronicling the role of Windsor in the Canadian auto industry.

Morgan put his photographic skill to work to produce in a line of unique greeting cards, each mounted with a photograph ready for framing.
